Rainbow Honey April Mystery Bag

Gonna kick off my blog with a review post about a company called Rainbow Honey.  I stumbled on this company months ago and they are amazing.  They primarily do nail polish, but have been experimenting with lotions, perfumes, and pigments.  There products are also produced in the USA in Clifton, New Jersey.  They are also free of formaldehyde, toluene, & dibutyl phthalate, and are 100% vegan & cruelty free.  They began doing mystery bags for people that purchased over $65 dollars in there store and when these became a hit they started offering them for $10.00 plus $3.95 shipping (for the mini's, changing the bag monthly). Beginning in May there are doing a subscription service for these.  It will be $10.00 and $2.95 shipping for the mini's and $25.00 with free shipping if you want the full size products.  The bags will feature new, unreleased items as well as current products. I purchased April's bag and then signed up for a subscription for next month :).  This will be a review of the April mini Mystery Bag.
Bag came in a simple white bubble mailer and was packaged in bubble wrap and wrapped in tissue paper with the Rainbow Honey Mystery Bag seal.
Could barely contain my excitement and ripped the bag open before taking a picture :)

First up is the product card, I tend to enjoy when companies add these because sometimes I've received products and had no idea as to what they are!

First products I pulled out were the 3 nail polish minis that came this month. These are all 5ml minis. First one is Stellar Treat

Stellar Treat
This polish is a rainbow colored confetti full of stars, glitter, and shimmer.
One Coat (base coat is All Your Base by Rainbow Honey)

2 coats (Base: All Your Base)
Next up we have All Your Base. This is a base coat enriched with vitamin E and designed to help strengthen your nails.

Last polish is Cameo 18.  This polish is a neon pink, inspired by cameo pink. It's a creme colored polish that works great as a stand alone or under a top coat, such as Stellar Treat :)

That concludes that polish that was in the bag, but Rainbow Honey also includes a few other treats for us to sample and try before they release them.
First is a pigment, which will be in a new line of pigments the company plans on releasing.  This is in the shade Sparkling Agave and is a 1gr. sample.
Sparkling Agave

Sparkling Agave

Baby blueish shade that contains glitter/shimmer. (No primer)

I love pigments, there are so many great uses for them and this one is a perfect spring shade for your eyes.  The pigmentation isn't super bright but under a white base and primer it would be a standout. I'm really interested in seeing what shades Rainbow Honey develops in these pigments :)

Next we have Rose Nectar Rollerball in a 1ml sample.  This is a sweet rose scented perfume.
Rose Nectar

I don't personally care for floral scented fragrances but I thought this was a nice rose scent, not too over powering.  It did fade pretty quick but does seem to mix well with my own natural scent.  I would be interested in trying more fragrances from this company in the future.

Continuing with the Rose scent we have a Rose Nectar Lip Balm, in a .15oz tube. It's comprised of Maracuja Oil and Vitamin E in order to nourish and protect your lips.

This went on smooth and smelled exactly like the perfume.  It didn't have any noticeable taste (which I enjoy) and didn't seem sticky.  Although it does wear kind of heavy.

Last we have a couple extras including 10 nail studs and 2 disposable pigment applicators
2 disposable applicators

10 silver nail studs

Overall I was very impressed with this bag, I thought for $10 this was a great investment.  It giver me more than enough product to try out the polishes several times and also insight into whats in store for Rainbow Honey.  I can't wait for next months bag and may even look into upgrading it to the full sizes!

**All products featured were purchased by me and all opinions are my own. I was not paid or reimbursed to review these products.

Blogging!

Well I've finally decided to take the plunge into the world of blogging.  It's something I've longed to do for ages but have never sat down and committed to doing it. Well that changes now! What will be on this blog? Well that's only limited to my imagination. I'm really into gaming, music, makeup, family, cooking, crafting, and loads of other things that I probably won't realize till I stumble across it.  This blog will contain any and everything I mentioned. And will probably vary drastically from day to day. I wanted a creative outlook for me to share ideas and stories with others, and this has finally gave me that freedom.  I hope each and everyone of you finds something that you enjoy and if not, well maybe I'll introduce you to something new :)
